Introduction

The idea to start making mill sails in a traditional way came during the training to become a voluntary miller.

The next step was attending classes at an experienced mill sail maker.

There techniques were learned and knowledge about the various materials gained.

The following step was the organization of the workshop, materials and the equipment which had to be purchased.

In 2007, after obtaining the miller's diploma at sawmill "De Rat" in IJlst, a start was made with the company.

Proper equipment was installed, to deliver a good product.

Quality comes first.

Meanwhile, many mill sails have been made and delivered.

And also other products, such as canopies, sunscreens, hoisting bags and coverages are being made in the workshop next to the river 'Dokkumer Ee'.
